In Truth, there are only two emotions: Love or Fear. You have been taught, erroneously, there are tons of emotions from happiness, joy, surprise and calmness to rage, anger, jealousy, and resentment. All your positive emotions come from the loving place within you. All your negative emotions come from your fear-based mind-set.
These fear-based thoughts, words, and deeds you are taught day by day, through what you read or watch, need to be discarded or they will flourish like weeds! Focusing on any fearful emotion such as worry, stress, anxiety, anger, negativity or complaining will not help any situation to be better. It will however make things worse or make you sick. Being stuck in fear breeds more fear, more negativity, more of everything you DON’T WANT!
The good news is your loving emotions should be fertilized and cultivated so they can grow stronger with each passing day. As you focus on your loving positive thoughts and emotions you draw more love into your life. You begin to open opportunities in your life for everything you DO WANT!
Hope as you use it through your optimistic attitude, is a powerful force that contributes to your positive expectations about your future. Optimistic feelings, and feelings of hope, are your fuel aiding you to create positive energy. This powerful energy attracts more opportunities for success.
You can assist this process by consciously focusing on hopeful outcomes for any project you may have in front of you. When a negative thought creeps into your mind, visualize pushing it out with a positive one. As you get in the habit of replacing negative thoughts with positive ones your optimistic, hopeful outlook becomes stronger. With new determination and a strong optimistic outlook, you gain focus and add strength to your intentions.
Spiritual teachers have always pointed to the heart as your “seat of consciousness.” Approaching life with an open heart means you open your consciousness to a greater awareness. Doing this is as simple as shifting your attention onto your heart. When you make this a habit you can shift your attention to your heart center anytime you feel worried, stressed out, or in fear.
Simply sit with your eyes closed and draw your breath into your heart. As your breath expands your chest cavity expands, your heart expands and unleashes all your emotions. You may feel sadness, tenderness or relief as your emotions are healed.
